3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

blessing in the water

RIVERSIDE by Kirk Franklin

Let's go down by the riverside
Leave your problems all behind
You can rest troubled minds
Down by the riverside

If I concentrate on all the bad
And all the things I wish I had
How can the dark clouds ever pass
Weeping may endure for a night
But joy comes in the morning light
Gotta keep the spirit right
So no matter what the people say
Ain't nobody taking this joy away
In spite of everything I've been through I can say
Thank you Jesus, Thank you Jesus, Thank you Jesus

Jesus' Promise to us

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

making a change

Hello, good afternoon.

How was yesterday for you? Good? Today will be great. Bad? Today will be better. How so?

Today take a moment to just breathe. Inhale, exhale, and relax. Feel the air in your lungs. Now tell God. “I’m sorry for the sins I’ve done but today, I will be better. I will try harder to stop________(whatever you sin is). Today, I will began a new journey in your name _____________(insert your goal).

Everything starts with one step. Even if you try now and you mess up thirty minutes later, It’s okay, start again. The next time will be easier. No one is perfect but if you strive to do your best, each and every day, no one can stop you. Not even yourself. Be patient and watch God guide your life. All you have to do is ask him to.

                                                                                                                Pray, wait, watch and receive.

Jesus Anointed by a Sinful Woman

Luke 7:36-50

[36] Now one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, so he went to the Pharisee's house and reclined at the table. [37] When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, [38] and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.

[39] When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is -- that she is a sinner."

[40] Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to tell you."

"Tell me, teacher," he said.

[41] "Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. [42] Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?"

[43] Simon replied, "I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled."

"You have judged correctly," Jesus said.

[44] Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. [45] You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. [46] You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. [47] Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven -- for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little."

[48] Then Jesus said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."

[49] The other guests began to say among themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?"

[50] Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."

The woman knew her life was full of sin and instead of speaking about her sin, she pleaded Jesus by anointing(to rub an oily or stick substance) him. the lesson is who loves Jesus more and what are you willing to do to prove it for your sins to be forgiven.

Desperate

Desperate

When I wake in the mornings

I cry.

Before the sun rises,

My eyes began to moist

At night

I smile;

But when my head hits the pillow,

I cry.

No amount of, “I understand.”

Can heal me

No talk of pleasant heavens makes it better.

Still I cry.

When I do not,

Sickness is near.

And I can feel it rising,

Feeling my soul with loneliness,

Craving for something to sooth me

But what I need,

Is to cry
